Lulworth Cove is an original oil painting I created in admiration of one of Dorset’s most breathtaking coastal landmarks. I wanted to capture the gentle curve of the cove, the sheltered turquoise waters, and the way the cliffs rise like quiet guardians around the shoreline. With layered brushwork and soft coastal tones, I aimed to express both the peaceful stillness of the bay and the timeless strength of the Jurassic Coast.

This was a large statement piece, painted on deep edge canvas and designed to bring a sense of calm, sea air, and open sky into any room. It has now found its new home, and I’m truly grateful that it resonated with someone who shares a love for this special place on the Dorset coast.
